Le Libertin, Le Marquis, and L'Empereur are in the Guide Hachette des Vins new edition, which boast a lovely selection made meticulously by the winemakers and judged by profesionnal tasters.

L'Empereur, the leader of our pack of wolves and representative of the Malepère is proud to wear two stars : "Mostly made with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this red wine vinified and aged (18 months) in barrels. A demanding technique bringing an expressive nose, exuding candied fruits, flowers- violet, pepper and vanilla. Same fruity richness is imposed on a big yet and soft palate, with tannins firstly smooth and firm on the finale. Body, and potentiel for aging.Imperial indeed !"

Le Libertin is nicely decorated with one star : "Le Marquis, L'Empereur, Le Galant, La Muse, La Maîtresse, La Séductrice... : the Domaine range of pretty cuvées with evocative names and graphic and elegant labels. Here, honour for Le Libertin, a 100% Sauvignon with a pale colour, exuding citrus fruit, tonified with a nice freshness, mineral and lemon mouth."

Le Marquis is also achieving one star : "A majority of Cabernet Franc for this rosé with orange gleam, exuding citrus fruit and sweet spices. Fullbodied, first impressions in the mouth is lemony, with a nice freshness. Versatile, for aperitive or on the table."

We always are very honoured about getting such approvals of the Guide Hachette des Vins, known for its objectivity. But our best reward is still your satisfaction and your fidelity. Thank you !
